Camp Alabama

MedCamps of Louisiana’s summer camps are held each year at Camp Alabama. Camp Alabama is a property of the Presbytery of the Pines and operated in partnership with MedCamps of Louisiana. Camp Alabama is an 80 acre wooded paradise, located in the rolling hills of North Central Louisiana between Monroe and Ruston.

It features comfortable accommodations, paved pathways, a beautiful lake with canoes and paddleboats and wonderful facilities including a wheelchair accessible swimming pool and zipline. Activities include fishing, boating, arts and crafts, archery, nature hikes, music, drama, canoeing and swimming. Memorable evening activities include camp wide games, karaoke and an end of camp dance. All activities, which may be modified, are supervised by trained camp counselors and appropriate medical professionals.

The entrance to Camp Alabama is located at 136 Hwy 821 in Choudrant, Louisiana which is approximately 4 miles north of Interstate 20 at the Choudrant-Sibley Exit 93.
